off the beaten path...
One of our favorite places of late is Kent Falls State Park in Connecticut.
It is free.
It is beautiful.
It has great hiking trails.
It has water (Chloe's favorite part).
It has good picnic tables.
Did I mention that it is free?
We've had several picnics here recently and then hiked the trail to the top. We have to get those PE hours in somewhere. It might as well be somewhere beautiful!
