Boston in 27 Hours

We're home...again! We left yesterday about 1:00 for a quick trip to Boston, and arrived home today at around 4:00. What a GREAT time we had in our few hours there. We would have stayed longer, but we wanted to be home to go to church for Easter and have our egg hunt at here. In our short time there, we saw the following:

• Boston Children's Museum (free thanks to our pass from OMSI in Portland).
• Fireman's Museum (Ian's favorite, and once again, free!) Are you sensing any kind of theme here?
• Dinner at The Barking Crab - Unfortunately, not free, but worth the money and the Friday night wait!

Today, we ate breakfast at our hotel (free again!), and then set off for a morning of sight-seeing before racing home to color eggs and get ready for Easter. We spent the morning at the waterfront touring the The USS Constitution or Old Ironsides. It was a great tour, and yet again, it was free! We spent all of our time today walking around down by the ship, touring another newer ship there (can't for the life of me remember the name right now) and visiting the museum there. We will definitely take another trip to Boston, probably riding Amtrak next time due to toll roads and parking fees! NOT FREE! Next time we hope to catch a Red Sox game.
