We have been to the Culinary Institute of America for our big adventure, lived at a NY inn, and are now settling back into Oregon where we can love on family!

Long overdue....

Wow....it is really time for an update. Life is just screaming along....making we want to scream some days.

Work (for me) is hectic and unfulfilling, school is hectic and wonderful for Troy, work for Troy is great and exciting, homeschool is fun and we are all learning from it.

Troy has less than 9 weeks of school left.

I have less than 9 weeks of work left! (doing a happy dance!)

The kiddos have many leaf piles to rake, lego creations to build, apples to pick, restaurants to run in the living room (project of the day!), and books to read.

A move will be in our near future....I know, again!:)

Did I mention that I have less than 60 days of work left....

Blah...Blah....Blog

I KNOW that it is time to update my blog, and I still have California pictures to share, but I am just not too into it right now. I don't know why!

Could it be because I am beginning to plan for our upcoming back to New York in only 2 weeks? We just got taxes finished this week so that Troy's financial aid forms could be filled out. We should hear something about that this week. We have to pack up our stuff here. That shouldn't be too bad, but it seems that over 5 months including Christmas and a birthday, our stuff has multiplied (especially KID stuff!).

Fortunately, Craig's List has come to the rescue. We found a car top cargo carrier for only $25, and we are off to buy a bike rack today for only $20. Both things will get some use during camping this summer!

After getting back to New York, we have to find an apartment or a house to rent. We rented "sight unseen" the first time, and we don't want to go that route again! We will check into a little hotel there and spend a few days looking at everything out there. Please pray for us as we are getting ready to go and for our trip.

I will post the Disney and Legoland stuff next time. I just wanted to give you a quick update today and let you know that we had not fallen off the face of the earth!
