We made it!

We arrived home last night about 7:30 thanks to the chance to get off the train in a nearby town instead of having to go into the city and then catch a commuter train home. Fortunately, someone from the inn was able to meet us there.

Needless to say, we are all exhausted...funny how over 3 days on a train and part of that time on a bus (a story in itself!) will do that to you!

We ordered a pizza, separated the laundry, took hot showers and went to bed. I am up early this morning, but I think that I may go back to bed for another hour or so.

I have lots of fun trip stories to share with you, but it will have to wait until later.

Home Again, Home Again....

We are quickly getting settled in our new home here in NY, and we LOVE it! We are in the bottom floor of a 2 family house that is only 1 1/2 blocks from the library and 2 blocks from several different restaurants and shops! God is SO good!

He protected us from 2 places that we thought we wanted, only to provide us with things that we had really wanted....walking distance to things in town, close to school and church, washer and dryer hookups and a little bit of storage!

Troy starts school again on Tuesday, and he is looking forward to it. We are starting to get back to normal....all is unpacked, everything is hung on the walls, and we are back to making lots of yummy food!
