RELISH the days!

With 6 HUGE yellow squash, lots of onions, some green peppers, and various other ingredients, Troy and the kiddos managed to make squash relish yesterday! There is a reason that we refer to the kiddos as little chefs! They LOVE to be in the kitchen - even if their eyes are watering like crazy from onions.

We visited the local farmers market on Wednesday evening one hour before they closed, and got some GREAT deals!

They got 9 pints of relish....YUMMY! We have been out of it for several months now....

dinner tonight is pinto beans, cornbread, and yellow squash relish! I would share the recipe, but then I would have to kill you! We hope to market it someday!:)




All the while, I painted my toenails and read. What a perfectly lovely evening!:)
