Spring Colds
Well, we went through the winter season relatively healthy (except for colds the week that we moved cross country), but we all have a yucky spring cold right now. We thought last week that Troy just had some allergies, but now that he has spread it to all of us, we have decided that it was indeed a cold!
The kids and I were going to go to Bible Study at our church yesterday so that we could start getting to know some people there, but Chloe woke up with stuffy nose and fever. By the time that we went to the Little League meeting last night, Ian had it too. We were able to get our schedule and uniform and let Ian meet everyone. Today, however, we are staying in and trying to get well. For Chloe, that involves asking for some kind of medicine every half hour or so. For Ian, it is trying to convince him to take something when he really needs it. We have to be ready for our first T-ball game on Saturday. I'll post pictures of him in his uniform (shirt and tacky hat) then. Here in NY, the kids don't get baseball pants in T-ball, but the upside of that is we don't have to do a fundraiser!
Please pray that through T-ball and Bible Study, we will begin to make some connections with other kids and moms. We are all ready to have some connections here - preferably close to our home!
