A few updates...

~We had a wonderful trip to Oregon....didn't want to leave! It was great to see friends and family and just soak up some of the green.

~Troy's hand is continuing to heal beautifully! He is out of his brace except for at night, and he is released to go back to work in the kitchen in only 12 more days! You can be sure that he is thankful for that!

~We will soon be preparing to head back to New York....less excitement this time since we've actually been there! We are however, excited that Troy gets to finish up school this year.

Final deep thought for today.....aren't you glad that this world is ultimately, NOT OUR HOME? We have lived in many places (insert parental laugh and eye roll here)..some of them great...others not so great....but wherever we are, we have the hope of our final home in heaven....

In this world, we are just passing through....we just choose to pass through LOTS of places!
